Isley Brewing, Scotts Addition in Richmond, VA
Raspberry Razzle Gose, 5.4% ABV
Isley Brewing is my second favorite craft brewery in the Richmond area; their flavors are consistently interesting and delicious without being overbearingly sweet or “syrupy” and Raspeberry Razzle gose is no different. It is the perfect marriage of modest sweetness and tartness with an authentic raspberry flavor; crisp and effervescent mouthfeel and light-bodied. Delicious!
Rating:
This brewery is completely new to me, a boysenberry gose from Wasserhund Brewing in Virginia Beach. Crisp, effervescent, and distinctly tart with a quick burst of sweetness at the end, I found this gose to be authentic in its flavor…it truly tastes of actual berries as opposed to an imitation syrup.
